The Five Most Healing Foods that are accessible to anyone

Hi love,

I often receive comments about the price of healing: high quality supplements are pricey, organic food is expensive, etc. And this is true… BUT, there are also so many healing foods that at our fingertips: easy to find and very cost effective. Here are my top 5:

  • Bone Broth: if you’ve been following me, you know I swear by this ancestral recipe. It has minerals our bodies need, amino acids that help rebuild our tissues, collagen that restores our intestinal lining; gelatin to help with chronic inflammation. It is truly one of the most healing foods we have access to.

  • Celery Juice: this little green vegetable has so many healing benefits… and all that is required is that you drink it everyday on an empty stomach. How amazing and simple is that? Celery juice can detox our blood, it helps our nervous system, calms inflammation and most important: it helps replenish our gut’s hydrochloric acid to aid with digestion. If we digest our foods properly, then our body can use the nutrients to keep us healthy and thriving.

  • Coconut Oil: my loves, we need good fats for the health of every single one of our cells, including our brain cells, and as women even more so for the health of our sex hormones. It contains MCT oil which boosts our metabolism as well as improve our brain function. Coconut oil is also anti-fungal and anti-microbial. It is a beautiful oil to moisturize our skin with.

  • Lemongrass tea: it helps with digestion, it is anti-inflammatory and reduces anxiety and stress which are two of the main culprits of declining health. I have also found it to be a diuretic: anytime you want to get rid of bloating, give lemongrass a try.

  • Apple: Never underestimate the power of a single apple :) Seriously though, these little guys pack a huge impact on our health: The phytochemicals in apples make them a brain food, they help detox our bodies of heavy metals and are great allies when regulating our blood sugar levels.

There you have it, beautifully healing foods, bountiful and ready to help you feel your very best! :)

With love,

Mary
